There comes a time in the competition, at the very end, when the judges should back down and let the performances speak for themselves. Randy, Paula, and Simon were dreadful last night, and dragged the show down. They even managed to make Ryan look good by comparison, and that's quite a trick.

No sense debating voice vs. performance at this late date.
Both contestant have proven they have chops, and at this stage, it's purely a popularity contest.

The Seattle try-outs were held on Sept. 19, 2006, which means Blake and Jordin have been under the ruthless control of the AI Machine for over 8 months. Both of them deserve medals for maintaining their sanity much less their good humor.
