It is nonsense LC. Using the formula for wetlands i.e. 2 feet of overburden, everything in southeast Alaska except land in front of a receding glacier (glacial morains) would qualify as wetlands. There are wetlands and then there is just wet land-lol. This whole thing with Kensingotn is nuts. It is irrational greenies and irrational liberal judges (my people-lol!) being selfish and stupid. The liberals in our town also make it impossible to build affordable housing by keeping density zoning very low--elitism. I have told all my liberals friends I will not join in bashing the poor. I wrote the state plan for both emergency medical services and alcoholism and drug abuse and reviewed the cities comprehensive plan and wrote a "white paper" showing the concerted efforts to keep affordable housing from being built (by changing zoning in the fine print few can understand)----no one paid any attention, so I quit the fight. LIBERALS DO NOT HURT THE POOR!! And they should not be elitist, selfish or irrrational. That is conservative territory-lol.
