No, your comment is irrelevant. The issue at hand is how well our army and others (current and historical) have been equipped and supplied. Other issues could arguably be more important, but they aren't relevant to the specific issue.

The fact is that our army's level of equipment and supply is probably the highest of any army's in history, certainly at least near the highest.

The size of our army, how often we deploy it, and all sorts of other issues might be considered important, but they don't change the fact I mentioned in the previous paragraph. There is only a scandal about our army's equipment, if a scandal is defined as falling short of perfection.

Even though your question was irrelevant to the question at hand, I'll answer it anyway.

The number of invasions and interventions the US army has undertaken since WWII is much higher then the norm, but it doesn't stand out as something unique in history. Many other countries have been that active or more (in terms of number of operations, or percentage of the population employed in operations against other forces).
