What that article chooses to ignore is you can usually get a larger percentage to agree to most anything. Take this question out of a poll taken in December, 2006. Some people think that bombing and other types of attacks intentionally aimed at civilians are sometimes justified while others think that this kind of violence is never justified. Do you personally feel that such attacks are…justified? 5% of Americans said "Often". 19% said "Sometimes". 27% said "Rarely". *So a full 51% of Americans approve of attacking civilians*. worldpublicopinion.org It should also be noted that the blood-thirsty Iranians have only 16% polled who agree with that statement.
