And if they decide the moon is made of green cheese, then it is? Reality isn't decided by an opinion poll. That is nonsensical. If enough people in the country that you invaded, think that you are an invader, then it naturally has consequences. The reality, dear idiot, will then be reflected in the number of the invading troops that are getting killed and maimed on a regular basis.
