Raising the gasoline price is actually one of the few things the Iranian regime is doing right.

Using a couple of cutouts, with almost NOBODY in the CIA or Admin aware of it, we should hire Iranians ex-pats to go in and sabotage their only refinery and their Electric power plants. Fastest way to take the country down.

If we had informed the North Vietnamese in 1964 or so to stop all actions against the South, with the threat that we would take out their hydroelectric plants and mine their harbor, our war there would never have happened.
