In realtime technology, where codecs are used, the resolution and color depth is called profile(baseline, extended, main and high). SD TV is 480i/p and HD is 720i or 1080i/p. The codecs are clearly different. Mpeg4 codecs has to be fine tuned? ipTV is so many SD channels and so many HD channels in the same distribution.

When dotnet packets are segmented; Unix semaphores can be lossy. It has to synchronized with time and date stamped packets to prevent semaphores from losing counts. Otherwise, time and date stamp becomes meaningless. As speed of computers gets faster and faster with multithreads, semaphores became more important to be not lossy.
