The same point that Arnold Kling points out in his open letter to Paul Krugman applies to you. Krugman's the more sophisticated version of the "type M argument". You have a less sophisticated version. But in both cases the level of discourse is lowered. Also if you really are trying to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you, questioning their motives or intelligence isn't the way to do it.
