By narrow *definition*, I would say that is true....

But, it is likely to be a distinction without a difference... as so many biases (pro AND con) play into any individual's calculus for 'who to vote for'.

Unless one is prepared to totally BLANK OUT all mention of personal religious beliefs (banning all mention of religious affiliation in election campaigns?), then I don't see HOW there could ever be anything like a 'guarantee' that 'religious bias or predilections' did not play into how a voters election choice was arrived at.

And, gee, wouldn't that 'cure' be far worse then the original 'problem'?
