They don't count because it next to impossible to have an accurate count. You find a body, was the person innocent, or was he a combatant? Did he die from American weapons, or from those of insurgents or terrorists.


As for the oil, there is nothing wrong or unreasonable about trying to protect important resources.

Ah, the "what's our oil doing under their country?

Another non sequitur. Protecting important resources, has nothing to do with it being "our oil", and we are not in fact taking/stealing oil.
