Tony Blair's falling (fallen?) star is a fascinating story about the perils of power politics. I was always impressed by Blair's ability to capture a moment and deliver the tone-perfect response a nation needed to hear in uncertain times. Elequent, sincere.....Clinton without most of the flaws.

Or so it seemed....Then came Iraq.
