Al - I haven't spent as much time as I feel I should have by now getting up to speed on the ag stocks and food stocks that DC has been discussing for a while now. I took about 9-12 months to act when he first started talking about the oil sands. Gave up some upside, but still caught quite a bit. At any rate, he has been talking about stocks like Smithfield and Hormel. He thinks the food companies like the meat packers will have an easier time pushing cost increases through then Nestles or Hersheys. In other words, people can cut back on candy more easily than they can cut back on staples. Good going on the fertilizer stocks...sounds like you are getting well positioned for this wave. I've got two teenagers (and they have lots of friends), so I'm really not looking forward to rising food prices...
