That certainly was a wise decision to make at age 50. I didn't decide to buy the insurance until I was 65. I wrote the checks for my father's nursing home stay. Back then it was around $3800 per month. It will be well over $10k by the time I need it. My insurance costs me just under $200 per month and is very inclusive of all anticipated needs, right up to death. Then, The Neptune Society will take over and that's all paid for as well.
