I would love to hear from a judges mouth - you mean you purchased a patent because you knew it was being infringed so that you would have grounds to file a suit against another company?

It is called capitalism. You can buy and sell patent rights just like any other piece of property. Qualcomm bought Flarion for the IP and I am sure they are going to make sure their rights over those patents get enforced.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Broadcom is doing in pursuing their patent rights. I never heard anybody complain over the years when Qualcomm talked about the fact that if even a single claim of a single patent was infringed that Q would be owed royalties.
