I know that I risk the wrath and indignation of some on the thread for posting trivialities, but thought I'd mention that in our neighborhood we are doing our part to cut down on the NG injections. At the moment there are two huge trucks in front of our house from the fire department's Hazardous Materials Control division. There are a couple of gay guys next door who are passionate gardeners. One just cut a gas line to an outdoor light fixture with his shovel. There are a dozen guys in helmets, some with breathing tanks, and no one seems to have any idea what to do. Someone from the gas company is evidently needed.

EDIT: One of the hazardous materials trucks is leaking hydraulic fluid into the street.
