Interesting plot summary, thanks; I hadn't heard of the movie. (Basically I haven't followed the movie scene since 2002 due to the family growth and its concomitant time restrictions.)

Video is just one way of recording one's inner life, of course. There are other approaches, e.g. in literature the "stream of consciousness" in Joyce's "Ulysses".

I like video because of its high impact. To my first N93 family DVDs I got a much stronger response than to photographs although I am still a novice at all aspects of the film creation process. I take one step at a time, currently struggling with low tech, trying to balance a new camera stabilization device.

A real Steadicam en.wikipedia.org is out of question ($60K?) but the Glidecam might be good enough for my purposes. The first tests are promising though the top half with the camcorder above the gimbal is still too light and I might have to find a place to get a lead plate.
