VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 28, 2007) - Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. (BLK) (TSX VENTURE:BLK - News) announces the following activity on its exploration and development projects;

The assay results from the third hole of the six hole core drilling program at the Four Metals polymetallic project near Nogales, Arizona have been received. Drill hole FM 07-09 returned 0.83% copper and 0.019% molybdenum over 22.5 meters in the near surface chalcocite enrichment zone. The hole also encountered high grade chalcopyrite mineralization grading 0.64% copper and 0.015% molybdenum over 76.4 meters. The interval below the barren leach cap at 29 meters to the end of the hole at 234 meters graded 0.46% copper and 0.019% molybdenum (205 meters) with the hole in mineralization at termination.

Based on information from current and past drill campaigns the overall dimensions of the Four Metals Breccia Pipe and the distribution of the copper-molybdenum-gold-silver mineralization within the Pipe are becoming evident. The Pipe is oval-shaped, 300 meters by 200 meters, with the long axis trending NE-SW, a steep NW dip and a demonstrated vertical dimension of at least 500 meters. The pipe has a central "core" of primary chalcopyrite mineralization averaging about 0.25% copper and 0.02% molybdenum. Underneath a 20-30 meter "cap" of barren leached rock is a 25-40 meter thick flat-lying zone of copper enrichment (chalcocite blanket) grading between 0.75%-1.25% copper. High grader copper and molybdenum is also present along the sub-vertical dipping southern boundary (perimeter zone) of the pipe with indicated dimensions of 400 meters in strike length, 50-100 meters in width and a drill-indicated depth of over 200 meters. Copper grades in this zone are in the 0.50%-0.75% range with shorter intervals exceeding 1% copper and 0.1% molybdenum. The copper grades vary widely within the entire Pipe but molybdenum, gold and silver values are pervasive. (The 102 meter interval from 74 meters to 176 meters in Hole 07-09 averaged 0.027% molybdenum).

All of the drill holes in Phase 1 program are designed to test both the "Chalcocite Blanket" and the "Perimeter Zone" targets. The drill hole 07-09 reported in this release has special significance as it extends both the Chalcocite Blanket and Perimeter Zones further to the northeast of previously known mineralization.

The Company considers the Four Metals property to be an important drill target for the following reasons;

- the potential exists for important tonnages of relatively high grade copper mineralization with significant molybdenum, gold and silver by-product credits

- all of the mineralization discovered to date is located above the historical 5090 Foot Adit at the base of Red Hill and could be extracted by bulk underground methods or an open pit with a very low waste to ore ratio

- the development of Four Metals could be easily incorporated into the extensive existing southern Arizona copper - molybdenum mining and processing infrastructure.

The fourth and fifth holes are completed and in the assay lab. The sixth and final hole is in progress. Upon completion of this Phase 1 drill program a resource estimate will be made.

Work is progressing at the Ferro Mine site near Snow Lake, Manitoba in establishing a 16-man base camp and road access to support the bulk sampling and processing scheduled for this summer. The Company will use the bulk sample test results to provide critical metallurgical and grade continuity information for future development plans on the property.
