Jim,

<May it be noted that Kurlak was right on MU.>

May it be noted that you are completey clueless or are trying to re-write history. Kurlak was the last person on earth to understand what was going on in the dram industry. He single handedly drove MU from the mid 20's to 60 by continually touting it despite the well known and well documented surplus capcity in the dram industry. Everyone knew that MU was in deep doo-doo except for Kurlak. Kurlak finally, at the very end, had to admitt that he had been completely full of sh%t and thus he revised his opinion. Heck, all he had to do if he wanted to learn about MU's problems was to read the MU thread on SI for the last 12 months. ANYONE who follows this industry (except for Kurlak) knew for a long time that MU had no mathematical chance of hitting estimates last quarter. Very simple math. Here's another no brainer....MU will miss estimates again this quarter and MU's earnings will be down sequentially. Unbelievable given the history of events that anyone could say that "Kurlack was right on MU". Unbelievable!! Apparently, you don't follow Kurlak very closely or know much about his history. Here's some history for you. Last time Kurlak turned negative on INTC the stock was around 24 1/2. It subsequently increased about 40% to 34 before he once again admitted that he had been full of sh%t and started recommending it again. Yeah, that Kurlak sure is a WS and semi industry genius.

BTW, I have heard from very reliable sources that you understand very little about the tech industry.
