Speaking of MAD COWS, the British Government spent a decade trundling out scientific "experts" saying that there was no health threat from CJD. The reasons for these blatant lies were monetary and political. It was fairly obvious to anyone with a normal functioning brain that this was unlikely to be true, and it was all plain Government induced bullchit in the end. The deaths proved it.
