That whole scenario has turned into a real 'KOOK' extravaganza...this is the 'Kookiest' of the 'Kook', fully loaded, with all the options, chrome ornaments, and a tilt-steering wheel.
Wexler is an 'enthusiastic' (if that's the right word) believer that the Y2K thing is much-ado-about-nothing and that most of the companies involved in it are scams. His approach, however, is not always diplomatic or tactful. He had mentioned TPII on the Roger Babb Short Picks thread, and in response (on September 29), this 'Tom Fraser' chap made a completely vulgar and obscene response which was subsequently deleted by SI.
Now, Tom is following Wexler around on nearly every post he makes (everywhere) providing very polite, yet patronizing and condescending commentary. It borders on harrassment. Furthermore, he's been spamming that same message you referenced to a zillion other threads that are not related to Y2K (Iomega, Dell, Gateway, etc...). I told him to cool it on the IOM thread because he's dragging along a bunch of unneccessary baggage to places that don't need it. He didn't realize that I had been observing the past week of exchange between him and Wexler.
Most of the thread you referenced has turned into mindless jabber now. Some people have even less of a life than I do...
