I would be surprised if IBM bought Corel, but very happy. IBM bought Lotus for Notes, not the productivity software. They seem to be doing a good job with notes but the rest is being ignored. IBM could also have bought WP (or Novell which has been rumored) but decided against it.

My biggest concern with Corel is their advertising expenditures. M. Cowpland is a sports fanatic and has wasted a lot of money on sports advertising. With cash so low they've got to cut back.

I feel that $25 should be reached by January. If things continue going well then the sky is the limit.
