To keep heating oil price down, the fuel degree day is projected low and a nice mild winter coming. For AMES, we project a cold cold winter for best overcoat season ever. Impossible, but some days could be coldest ever, and other days warmer. Door busters of additional 75% off already reduced goods, drawn some customers before the end of September. X'mas feeling is already at Ames. Natick store needs to be restocked, a lot of empty center isles. When daily (stock) volume dries up, market makers usually move it up again. Buy back usually happens during profit taking. Low stock prices create buying opportunities; short interest will go up again.
