Goldman has raised the long term picture substantially since 9 days ago. It added $15 to the previously projected 12 month price of $90. This is a heck of a move in a very short time frame. Don't think I've seen anything like it in my life. Message 23559341 I recently took mid term profits in VLO. Might have to reconsider a re-entry for the longer term. On the other hand, this kind of sharp move in less than two weeks is worrisome. Why couldn't Goldman reach the same conclusions it did today 9 days ago? Is Goldman blowing hot air into the ears of the momentum players trying to get a short term pop in the share price? Odd. Still, VLO is well managed, a cash cow, and its long term prospects are excellent.
