Not average joes at all. The most anti-American are usually college students & people well enough off to come shop in our Gallerias (at least here in Houston).

Average joes go about their lives and if they think much about the US, they come here one way or another.

They used to LOOK UP to the USA. That's a fact.

Its still a fact. But they look up in either longing or with envy. Thats been true for decades and still is.

The USA lost a tremendous amount of credibility in the aftermath of the Nov 2000 elections.

Baloney. Now you're projecting soreloseritis onto others. Frankly, LA's mostly don't care much who is in the WH. If they don't like America, they'll dis whoever is there.
