My challenge to you to explain what action you think could have prevented 911 after the generic 8/6/01 warning (which btw I posted here), was met by a claim that a single phone call telling the FAA to be "on the alert" would have done it.

Oh wait, you actually said to the FCC, but I ignored that.

Somehow from that "be on the alert" phone call, Mohammed Atta and everyone else who looked remotely Arabic would have been prevented from boarding aircraft anywhere in the country. Or getting close to an airport in case the AQ terrorists got a stinger or two into the country.

And what about the threats to all the federal buildings which the 8/6/01 memo mentioned? What would a call the "FCC" saying "be on the alert" have done to protect them?
