Gee! the FDE Drive can be used without TPM or WAVX.
But most non WAVOIDS knew that already(g).

Today's Webinar for Wave Seagate was ok. The technology was crude with telephone access and a slide presentation on the PC screen. It covered what most of us already knew. Lenovo was highlighted as an OEM who had announced inclusion of the FDE drive along with Dell, Tarox and ASI. They are the likely new OEM, IMO. ETDM was said to be shipping with optional Dell laptops soon.

The FDE can be used at the BIOS level by the user with no Wave software. In any case the TPM is not necessary but could used to harden the password set by the user or central administrator
