buck, BPZ Energy (BZP) -- The 16X well was drilled about 30 years ago, looking for oil, and tested 16.6 mmcfd of gas instead. See slide 12 of the latest BPZ presentation, bpzenergy.com 12 . They are expecting a better flow rate on this recompletion vs. the original one, with an improved knowledge of the geology plus better, more effective perforation methods than existed 30 years ago. But the smaller production casing will probably be a limiting factor, at least as compared to what came out of the 21X well. IMO anything starting with a "2" will be considered a success.
