In 1993, Inaba toured with Madonna as a dancer in the "The Girlie Show Tour". This required Inaba to do two things for the first time; shave her head bald and perform topless. Inaba appeared as the "Pole Girl" who danced and slid down a pole to open each show.

'Dancing' judge Carrie Ann Inaba moves in with 'So You Think' beau
By Christopher Rocchio, 05/30/2007

Carrie Ann Inaba is apparently following the lead of Dancing with the Stars' third-season runner-ups Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff.

The 39-year-old Dancing with the Stars judge has moved into a three-bedroom Los Angeles, CA house with her boyfriend, 24-year-old Moscow native and former So You Think You Can Dance first-season finalist Artem Chigvintsev, US Weekly reported in its June 4 issue.

"I just bought a house... and we're living together," Inaba told US. "We're choosing furniture and having a really good time."

Inaba described the 2,252-suare-foot home as an "oasis," and added it cost "nearly $1 million." While Inaba apparently represented her Hawaiian upbringing at the pad by giving it a "tropical" feel, the Dancing with the Stars judge said she's pleased with the home decor choices Chigvintsev has been making.

"I'd like to think it's just me, but it's really both of us," she told US. "I'll get really excited and [say],'I have to have it!' and he's like, 'Yeah, but does that match this?' He's very practical."

After dating for a little more than a year and growing closer in their new home together, Inaba said there's still no wedding plans in the works.

"We're very happy with where we are now," she told US. "We take it one day at a time, and it's good!"
