It is amazing that Monica Goodling, the 33 year old undistinugished graduate of a third-rate law school can end up in such a critical position within the DOJ. I don't suppose it is that she is an evangelical christian and graduated from Pat Robertson's law school. In other words, a true-believer in the political doctrines and inexperienced enough to openly break civil service laws by questioning the political alligience of job applicants. Most of those job applicants probably had resumes and academic records that put hers to shame...but they weren't connected in the same way... Sad.
