"That line of argument may work for true believers, but it falls flat with everyone else." I don't buy the 'rightie' excuse Mark. Even if every right wing lawyer and politician were in cahoots to cover up crimes of torture, there are plenty of left wing politicians and lawyers that would give a left arm for the opportunity to take it to court. You made a broad allegation, not particularly pointed at any individual included under the allegation. If any individual or group of individuals under that umbrella was complicit in torture, they committed a crime that would easily find its way to a court. Who, what, where are the people you are accusing with this broad allegation against America? If your allegation has substance, let's bring it to the table. If not, maybe you made a mistake.
