Leave without CHECKING THEM OUT, knowing WHO was escaping, *yes* that was not only 'unreasonable' but near treasonably idiotic.

(We could have always repatriated anyone we wanted to --- after checking them out first. There would have been no problems with that cautious and reasonable approach. That close to 9-11 [and with the I.S.I.'s leading General having wired $100,000 directly to Mohammed Atta the very *week of the 9-11 attack*] we'd wouldn't have had too big a problem dealing with our 'ally' Pakistan....)
