Though Hitler's motives were *not exactly* on public display at that point-in-history! :-)

And, no doubt, in the decades to come, L-O-N-G after this administration has faded into the pages of history books, the public will have access to the order clearing the air corridor and granting special permission for the Pakistani military transports to evacuate their load from the falling major Taliban/al Qaeda/I.S.I. outpost in Kunduz, anchoring the northern front in the Afghan War.

(But, right now, all the public has to go on is the direct testimony of US pilots who were flying air cover over Afghanistan at the time --- who expressed their utter shock to several American reporters before orders came down for 'radio silent' --- and the logic that suggests it would have been literally *impossible* for any Pak military transport flights to fly INTO and OUT OF Kunduz that night... *without* American clearance.)
