The wired money to Mohammed Atta is not in dispute.

The question of whether it was wired on the direct orders of the head of the I.S.I., or not, seems to be the only thing in question.

And, there, the FBI and CIA (not to mention Indian Intelligence... who likely have the greatest number of spies infiltrated into the I.S.I., but also a vested interest in making them look bad...) seem to agree on the point though.

Based on evidence not released to the American public, and, in fact, not provided to (or at least: not provided IN ANY OF THE PUBLIC SESSIONS to, and similarly not approved for unclassified publication) the 9-11 Commission... that that is, indeed, the case.

The public may infer, at least circumstantially, that the duplicitous weasel ISI Chief, Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad, was directly implicated by the evidence --- insofar as *we know* that the U.S. of A. DEMANDED that he be RELIEVED of his job as head of Pakistan's CIA (we should have hung the bastard... or dropped him into GITMO), and the demand was complied with.

('Complied with' at least on the surface. There are also plenty of disturbing reports that he is still actively in-power, and pulling strings for Pakistan's Taliban support program from behind the scenes.... Just like A.Q. Khan, 'cashiered', but still living lives of luxury and regarded as a 'national heros' in Pakistan. :-(
