So... are you asserting that perhaps 'dragons' still 'be there' off the edge of our maps in uncharted areas?

Asserting the non-existence of dragons, doesn't itself mean that dragons don't exist. The fact that dragons do not in fact exist doesn't change this point at all.

Dragons aren't relevant. The fact that you can come up with an example of something that really isn't in dispute, doesn't mean that the particular thing you are claiming is without dispute really is.

Also I don't understand why you are making such a big deal about this. I already posted that I was willing to accept the idea for the sake of argument.

Re: "Of course there is still the issue that aid for the Taliban still does come from Pakistan. It has not been stopped. But stopping it, and/or dealing with those who send it, is a very complex issue."

Er... if you don't mind me noting... you seem to be diluting the strength of your argument a bit by agreeing with me like that, Tim. <ggg>

I'm making the same points I have been making all along. Agreeing with you would seem to mean accepting the following ideas

that supporting the Taliban is the coordinated policy of the Pakistani government and not just of factions within the government

that Pakistan (and not just a number of Pakistanis) are our enemy and we should treat the country as an enemy

I don't accept those ideas.
