Chris,
Hi!
At the time I wrote you I was already long PTIS a little under 5,000 shares and had held the stock for about 2 years. (I still own it)
My mental 'headset' about PTIS, having held it thru the thick and thin, was that it was a $4.00 stock that, after I woke up, was at $9.00.
At the time I wrote you, I was very concerned about it breaking out to say $16.00.
To this end, although I am really too ignorant (low IQ) to get the hang of TA, I think, in many respects, if used correctly, it is even more important than fundamental analysis. And trust me, some people can't get a handle on TA. I know this first hand.
So, I was debating buying a few more shares based on your feedback and some other feedback that I had requested.
To make a long story short, I am currently long a stock called NPRO. Their situation is one in which TA plays no role.
Until I move out of NPRO, I can't move.
I think I realize that because PTIS did not fall much on Friday it has some good legs ahead of it. And a graph of its MACD, while I don't understand it, looks UP.
Notwithstanding all of this, if I can get out of NPRO in the next 30/60 days I have decided to chase several BIOTECH stocks which have a fair chance of success with their respective product pipelines.
PTIS is expected to do $0.12 in the 4th qtr. This is a stupid number. They have signed a deal with a Tiawan (can't spell) company for their thingamajig(s). Because of this they will probably book an XTRA $3.5 mil. in revenue in the 4th qtr.
I hope you have a great week.
And I do thank you for your analysis of PTIS.
Regards,
