I did a calculation of how long it would take to reread all that I had posted in the past ten years on SI, and it came to 175 years, if I did not sleep. 15954 posts. The average post is 350 words. 5,583,900 words.

Here are a couple of them from 1990's

(on Flag Resources and their interminable exporation in the Sudbury district)

Well obviously they were so good they inspired them to drill eleven miles away..

I used to watch cats with a ball of string and after awhile I got so I could actually see what the cat was thinking.. but I snapped out of it..

whah?? here I am trying to sleep and you wake me up for this #$@#$@#$@ it! Did you realize its four AM and decent folk are trying to hack off a snooze

QTR have an anomaly..on strike...with other deposits many miles away and a lot of nerve if you ask me..

Anomlies are like belly buttons. They have no express purpose except to remind you that not everything has an explanation.

Platinum and related metals come from 7 known related geologies. All are related to copper nickel and basic and ultrabasic rocks. It occurs in native form and as bismuthinides, sulfides, arsenides and antimonides. It's association with basic rocks such as peridotite and gabbro are well known. In one instance I have seen it in quartz veins that also contained copper and nickel sulfides. It is known to occur in mantle associated rocks in association with sulfides and magnetite.

It has been alleged that some values of gold and platinum associate with salt basins in the shadow of the Sierra's. There can be some line drawn to say salt precipitation systems could also precipitate metals. This has never been proved in any economic manner, although it is not inconceivable. It would behoove a company putting forth this theory and dealing with public money to be above reproach. More obfuscation is not needed.

Suggested readings on Platinum are obtainable from the geoological survey of Canada and the OGS. Authors such as Naldrett, Cabri and Lovell are suggested.

Do not invest money in mystery where there is an additional risk that is not insubstantial where there may be gross error in methodology, unreliability of personnel or methods or possible calumny.

This is not a universal rule condemning VSE stocks.

on IPMCF and its potential to strain credulity of schoolchildren with 2 digit IQ's.

I hear where there was a magnificent find of fossils in China. Apparently when they were digging up one of the tyrrannosauruses, it came to life. Then to everybodys' amazement it started to talk in perfect English! It settled down to read a newspaper and commented plausibly on the articles therein. It got to the part about International Platinum and immediately turned to stone. If they hadn't found all that platinum we would have had the eighth wonder of the world!
