If nominated, Guiliani could be the first candidate to lose all fifty states. He's not going to win any blue states. He's not going to win any purple ones. And the red staters can't stand his support for gay rights, his cross-dressing, his mob ties, his gun control advocacy and his support for government funded abortions. Most Americans can't stand his total support for Bush's godawful Iraq debacle.

Louis Freeh is one of Guiliani's oldest and closest pals. His "endorsement" means absolutely nothing. Clinton (unlike Bush) made all kinds of appointments across the aisle. He even had two Republicans as his chief advisors, Gergen and Morris. Freeh was another one. But how do the rightwingers reward Clinton for being so open and bi-partisan, by smearing him a million ways from Sunday and concentrating on his personal private sex life of all things, despite the fact he was the most successful president since JFK, especially on the economy, and was very-very good for this country and our world in general. Contratst to Bush who hasn't done anything good for anyone except cronies and the top 1-2% richest.
