Still could be a virus, tomato mosaic--it doesn't look wilted, just curled.
I'm sure I've told this story a dozen times, but I saw Frank Herbert in person--he spoke at Edmonds Community College, oh, probably 25 years ago just a few years before he died.
Anyway, one of the things he spoke about was his love for gardening and composting. He left an impression on me. I once got a compost pile up to 135 degrees (if I remember right, probably each time I tell the story it goes up a few degrees).
Name dropping... Say, I sat less then 15 feet from Anthony Hopkins the other night, that was kinda cool. My wife had to somewhat drag me out to see a Seattle Film Festival flick, so we went to Slipstream. It was pretty well done. Fun to see that fellow up close and all that.
And finally, I once met Harlan Ellison at a book signing. That was cool. Nothing to due with composting or Tomato mosaic, but what the heck. Ever met a famous person? |
