Really? I'd appreciate you pointing that out to me since I can't find any specific mention that prevented the President from using the US Military to "Liberate" the people of Iraq from the chains of tyranny that was the regime of SH. That is unless you are interpreting section 4(a)(2)) differently than me?

iraqwatch.org

As a person of such glowing "intelligence" you must be aware that by a vote of 296-133 in the U.S. House of Representatives and by a vote of 77-23 in the U.S. Senate the "Iraq War Resolution" was passed requiring "President Bush's diplomatic efforts at the UN Security Council to "obtain prompt and decisive action by the Security Council to ensure that Iraq abandons its strategy of delay, evasion, and noncompliance and promptly and strictly complies with all relevant Security Council resolutions." It authorized the United States to use military force to "defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions regarding Iraq." Thus U.N. Resolution 1441. (look it up)

Now I know you liberals just love to revise history and manipulate democracy when it doesn't fit your agenda, and that you just love to point out that some of the reasons our nation invaded Iraq are invalid, but cherry picking information for the sake of your own special littl bias just doesn't hold water in the real world. And making statements like: It took "back room deals cooked up by neocons" and lies by Bush and his administration to pull off the Iraq "Liberation" and its carnage. are just plain speculation unless you were a little bug on the wall and heard such things with your little bug ears.

I still cannot.......after all of these years of whining and moaning from the left.........understand how people like you could be so tolerant of a mass murderer and totally ignore the suffering of the millions of innocent people under the regime of SH in Iraq.

Urges the President to call upon the United Nations to establish an international criminal tribunal for the purpose of indicting, prosecuting, and imprisoning Saddam Hussein and other Iraqi officials who are responsible for crimes against humanity, genocide, and other criminal violations of international law.
