The reference article speaks about photographs only, I take it. I wonder how many false results were encountered during that pilot, resulting in citizens being unnecessarily delayed access to their documents? In a more general sense, I can see extensions of facial recognition technology being placed at bank teller positions, ATMs and at point-of-sale credit-checking stations before long, as well. And of course, causing another entry to be made in every identified subject's electronic audit trail, too.
