Steve,

How do you test performance of disk drives? Do you know a link to a site with some benchmarks?

I was playing with this motherboard (of unknown origin, VX chipset) that kept idntifying P-200+ CPU as P-90+ (regardless of bus and multiplier settings) and the documentation seemed wrong as well. The only thing I had available at this place to test the settings was an old copy of Norton SI.

After many combinations I got to stable settings with SI of 290, which I believed was 75x2.

But I just got home, tried identical SI and my non-overclocked P166+ 66x2 shows 447, so I think I was not even close.
