Thanks, I just assumed you were only doing landfill gas, but I see you are doing both.
I agree that LF gas isn't the best for engines and has been used more for cooking gas in the third world as I'm sure you know, and would be well suited for firing cement kilns here.
The acidity problems can be somewhat dealt with by using lubricants with a higher TBN (total base number) of 14 or better.

I was kidding about platinum stand pipes as a catalyst, low tech never catches the eye of north Americans so if you want to sell a concept here one needs to paint the pig with lipstick so to speak.
Even bio diesel is low tech, its so easy to produce anyone can make it in their kitchen with a few common chemicals.
But even better is straight vegetable oil as fuel, no need for the time and expense of transesterifacation, thus why my fuel costs are so low and even my estimate of 10 cents per gallon may be high with the recent oil stocks I'm getting now are much cleaner.
