I think generalizations are ok when it comes to a senate or congressional vote. Majority wins. Right now, neither the DEMs or Pubs have the will to enforce immigration law. Sure there are individuals within both parties that differ but obviously not enough of them. Bush is a 0 on a lot of things but I think one has to enter the argument on a high level other than just continually saying Bush sucks. The Dems got elected on on the Bush sucks platform but so far they haven't performed on immigration either.
