Thats a good read. I think faith is important for people and can provide a good moral compass for some individuals that otherwise could have very difficult lives. It helps to relieve the burden of life's tragedies when a person can give those occurrences up to a higher power. DO I believe in evolution? You bet. But who am I to say that evolution wasn't done by the hand of a higher power? I don't know what a day is for God. Maybe its a million of our years. What's interesting to me is that in recent years scientists have found questions that can't be answered (currently) by any other explanation than creationism. In some ways science and religion have almost started to come together and compliment each other. I have lots of questions for God when I die...assuming he doesn't send me to the eternal heater. But faith is great for people and its a wonderful tool to live ones life by. If it gets too extreme its a problem and we have the same religious extremists in this country that we see in other countries. Thats where faith and I part ways. You know what they say about too much of a good thing.
