I'm looking at TS Barbara in the weather underground - map shows Barbara going north from El Salvador toward the middle of the Yucatan penninsula. What if some of that circulation makes it to the Gulf of Mexico ? Could this re-form or re-intensify, sort of like Ivan did after looping around Florida ? It would not take much movement to put the storm head right for the Mexican and then US offshore oil fields. wunderground.com
