When the voters are ignorant, they elect anyone... notice how so many of the candidate here are attempting that very same tactic, they say nothing of substance, just trite platitudes, ego soothing phrases, promising a new day, a new world, a new direction, the American way (patriotic music fades in) and so on... it's all a hype, a dog and pony show for the masses... God forbid that any of the candidates say anything real, they would only open themselves up to media criticism... this is how chavez got elected... this was how hitler got power, castro, all of them... with all these vital global issues at our elbow, the media spends more time on anna nicole smith, or paris hilton's jail sentence, or lindsey lohan... this is typical...
