I have not heard any music I can stand out of China or Hong Kong, as I have no taste for pop and detest schlock above all. Cantopop is unlistenable IMO. I have some great recordings out of Mongolia and Tuva, some amazing Burmese percussion orchestra music, and of course I love the various forms of gamelan out of Indonesia and Thailand. I have had the good fortune to play with a local gamelan orchestra a few times, and I'm a big fan of the gamelan-influenced minimalism of Steve Reich, Philip Glass, etc. I also love many of the forms of music that come out of India and Pakistan. Not so much the Bollywood stuff, but I listen to Indian classical, qawwali, and some of the styles of bhangra, plus lots of South Asian fusion like Karsh Kale, Zakir Hussain when he's not playing classical, etc. I also have some great recordings of crossovers between jazz and local music in the Caucasus, particularly Azerbaijan. Except in specific situations I try to stay away from consuming music in the form of videos, because the imagery presented both distracts from the music and diminishes the imagery I can imagine for myself.
