Yes, what I loved about New Zealand was that it was like going to a zoo on another planet-lol. The flora and fauna were often stuff I had never seen.

When my daughter was at the university in New Zealand she and I explored the whole country together; and she hiked hundreds of miles through the mountains with her buddy and roomate "Cat" a very self assured Kiwi med student. She was a good influence on my daughter as she tightened up her thinking.

The birds were spectacular.
