I'm just not sure about the wired morality. I think that for many years (long ago) religion served as some basis for right and wrong. Over time, things change and society comes to a conclusion of new views of right and wrong. Slavery, for example, would be unthinkable today in the US where 175 years ago it was widely practiced.

So my view (and by no means am I a rocket scientist on the subject) is that some morality has its basis in religion and as we evolve and ideas change it becomes more of a classical conditioning thing based on your culture.
