The new Japanese Docomo cellphones will have Mpeg4(baseline) encoder and decoder in the chipset. The chipset has power for 2200 MIPS(million instructions per second). The Mpeg4/h.264 will use 1/4 of the CPU power(550 MIPS). The Minerva encoder that EAGB uses is good for mobile(Mpeg4 baseline) and takes in Mpeg2 to change to Mpeg4 output. So it probably needs a software change, may even have to increase CPU power.
